I chose when I was younger to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints. To me, this means a lot of things. This means that I go to church for
three hours or more on Sundays. It means that I wear modest clothes and don’t
use foul language. It means that I obey the word of wisdom and keep my body
clean and healthy.
But most importantly,
to me this means that I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me. I
know that Jesus Christ died for me so that I can be saved and live in heaven
with my loved ones someday. I know that I can live with my family forever in
heaven. I know that I need to do my best to have charity and follow Christ’s
example that was set for each of us.
I have a testimony of this gospel. I have felt the Holy
Ghost testify to me that this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith did help
to restore this gospel. I know that we have a true prophet on this Earth today
and that as we follow his guidance we will be blessed. As we strive to do our
best each day and follow the Lord’s commandments, we will come closer to God
and our Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
